Lillian M. Hankins, 96, of Manchester died Friday, October 15, 2021 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in New York City, she resided in Rutherford for 28 years before moving to Manchester in 1982. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good mystery. She was a NY Giants and NY Yankees fan and a past member of the St. John Rosary Altar Society, Lakehurst. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Hankins in 2004 and grandson, Daniel Hankins in 2010. Surviving are her sons, William J. and his wife, Karen, Bruce A. and daughter, Roberta Hankins, 3 grandchildren, Kristen and husband, Kenny Rivera, Audrey and husband, Eric Mayo and Zachary Hankins and 2 great grandsons, Logan and Tyler. Visitation is Tuesday, 5-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday, 10 AM at St. John's Church, Lakehurst with internment to follow at Brigadier Gen.
