Ervin Ray Fosgate, 72 of Genoa, WV, went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 7, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born May 15, 1949 in Kirk, WV, a son of the late Lawton Fosgate and Grace Dillon Stultz. He was a member of the Laborer’s Local #543. A son, Dennis Fosgate also preceded him in death, along with his grandparents, William Riley Dillon, Sr. and Wilda Dillon; a brother, Jerry Fosgate; and an uncle Everett Dillon. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Karchefski (Ron) of Trenton, MI; a grandchild, Christine Fosgate of Trenton, MI; a sister, Sharon Bruce of Moore, Oklahoma; loving aunts and uncles; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV is in charge of arrangements.Obituary
