Ruben K. Reiff, III, 71, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 6, 1950 in Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of the late Julia (Shaffer) and Ruben Reiff, Jr. Ruben worked as a produce manager at various grocery stores in the area with the most recent being Wal-Mart, from where he retired in the early 2000’s. He enjoyed tinkering around on vehicles. He also loved anything outdoors and liked to travel and go camping. His most treasured times were spent with his daughters. Surviving are his daughters, Emily Reiff of Hagerstown, MD, and Deborah Myers (Justin) of Greencastle, PA; siblings, Donald, Bonita, Alice, Joyce and James; and the mother of his girls, Ruth Reiff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Glenn, Linda and John. A memorial service for Ruben will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, where Rev. Murray B. Stevens will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the funeral home.
