<p>Kenneth John McCall (Kenny) of Birtle, Manitoba died October 13, 2021 (74) in the Russell, Manitoba hospital.</p> <p>He was born on June 26, 1947, in Birtle, Manitoba to Eric John McCall and Edith Katie Lane-McCall.</p> <p>Kenneth is survived by his wife Carolyn, his sons Casey and Michael, his dog Oscar, his five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents Eric and Edith McCall, his sister Gail Watson and many friends and relatives.</p> <p>In Kenny&rsquo;s younger years, he worked for Manitoba Hydro, building a hydro electric dam. He went on to buy his dream car; a 1968 Dodge Charger and he loved to tear up the highways racing the snow machines.</p> <p>Ken worked many places in his lifetime, he drove a gravel truck and taught at the Community College at The Pas. He also took a lot of pride being a fishing guide in Northern Manitoba, and finally he drove truck for the remainder of his working years before he retired.&nbsp;</p> <p>Kenny (a.k.a. Grumpy Bear or Leaky Battery) will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Shooting guns, his beer pancakes and always teasing to give his grand kids &ldquo;a ride on the toe of his boot.&rdquo; His friends and family will miss him dearly.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Kenneth John McCall (Kenny) of Birtle, Manitoba died October 13, 2021 (74) in the Russell, Manitoba hospital.

He was born on June 26, 1947, in Birtle, Manitoba to Eric John McCall and Edith Katie Lane-McCall.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Carolyn, his sons Casey and Michael, his dog Oscar, his five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
