Mr. Arthur Lee Cooper, III of Jonesboro, GA passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605 with Pastor Tony A. Parker, Sr., officiating.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Cooper was a native and resident of Tampa for 40+ years.  He attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee Cooper, Jr., Bernice Williams Thomas and Andrew Thomas; grandparents, Clarese Brannon and husband, Willie, Bernard Williams and Mercedes Johnson, and loving wife, Schenquia Hogans-Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his memory: 2 devoted sons, Zaarun Bess and Zacobe Cole; a host of grandchildren; mother-in-law, Pamela Johnson; sisters, Bernetta Williams, Fredricka Blunt (Derick), and Dorothy Thomas; uncles, Ronnie Williams (Yolanda), Leroy Williams, Vernard Williams, James Williams, and Leonard Hale (Vivenne), all of Tampa, FL; 2 aunts, Rutha Williams and Sherryl (James); great aunt, Willie Mae Lawson; 2 great uncles, Alonso and Fred; 3 nephews, Denzel Williams, Roosevelt Pierre Jr. and Rashad Pierre; 8 nieces, Denisha Howard, Alicia Edwards, Aliyah Barrow, Ramiya Parson, Latamera White, Geneice Scott, Somiya Blunt and Courtney Pierre, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
