Denise Alice Ice Obituary

Denise Ice of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on October 11, 2021. Denise was born in Nashua, NH on April 8, 1958, Daughter of Claire (Michaud) Boucher and the late Leonard (Lenny) Boucher. She was happily married to Kevin Ice for 39 years.

 

Denise was a dedicated wife, mother, and teacher. She taught for over thirty years, first in her native state of New Hampshire and then in both Rock Hill and Clover School districts. Denise impacted the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by former students and colleagues alike.

 

Denise enjoyed reading, travel, and spending time with her three adult children. She also especially enjoyed the time she spent with her four grandchildren, whose unique personalities brought her great joy.

 

In addition to her husband, Denise is survived by her three children, Air Force Major Jonathan Ice and his wife Katherine, Allison Howard, her husband Christopher and their three children, and Carolyn Johnson her Husband Alan, and their son; her sister Elaine Boucher of Allentown, NH; her mother Claire Boucher of Nashua, NH; her cousin Karen Gregory and her husband Bob, of Charleston, SC; and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews. Denise was predeceased by her father Leonard Boucher and several aunts and uncles.

 

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Rock Hill on Sunday, October 17th at 4pm. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
