Judith Trapp Lorei, 77, of Greene Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Nightingale Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Erie on September 27, 1944 a daughter of the late Leonard C. and Bernice Seroka Trapp. Judy worked on the family farm with her husband, Norman, for over 50 years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and enjoyed attending the Ole Threshers Reunions. From a young age Judy was very talented when it came to baking. She graduated high school with the title "Miss Betty Crocker". Judy especially enjoyed working on decorative cakes. Anybody that was familiar with her baking loved her apple turnovers as well as her other baked goods. Judy was known by all who knew her for giving you a warm smile and following it with "okie dokie". In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Lorei. Survivors include her three sons, Norman "Butch" Lorei, Jr. and his wife, Penny, of Greene Twp., Seth Lorei and his wife, Meghann, of Greene Twp., and Ernie Lorei and his wife, Cheryl, of Tennessee; six grandchildren; two sisters, Janet and her twin Joyce Cochran and her husband, Clifford, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
