Peter S. Marino passed away in Metairie, LA on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the age of 89. He is survived by his children, Ginger Marino Hall (John) and Sal P. Marino; his grandson, Chase Smith (Hannah); great-grandchildren: Judah, Levi, Asher, Silas, and John; and his sister, Rosalie Marino Weber. He was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Salvadore and Virginia Marino. Peter was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria T. Marino, and his siblings: Mary Ann Tines, Rita Marino Bertolino, Antoinette Marino Downing, Louise Marino Orgeron, Christine Marino Bonura, Joseph Marino, Leo Marino, and Ralph Marino.
Peter was a retired heavy equipment operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 406. He was a dedicated husband and father and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119 on Monday, October 18, 2021. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm with a service starting at 2:00 pm followed by burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie, LA. Arrangements are under the care of Garden of Memories Funeral Home.
