<p>Barbara Joyce Taylor, 80, of White Hall, was a loving wife and mother who was very family oriented. She was a very social person who loved reading romance novels and traveling.</p><p><br></p><p> She passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.</p><p><br></p><p> Barbara was born September 23, 1941 in Allen, Oklahoma, daughter of C.W. Gunter and Olive Benita Smallfield Gunter.</p><p><br></p><p> She was reared and received her early education in Altheimer, graduating from Altheimer High School in 1959. </p><p><br></p><p> Barbara Gunter married W.A. Taylor, Jr. January 11, 1959 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. </p><p><br></p><p> She moved to White Hall in 1967 and worked for the Pine Bluff Arsenal for 30 years.</p><p><br></p><p> Barbara was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and was a big believer in prayer. Her travels included going camping and her favorite travels included many trips to Biloxi, Mississippi, an Alaskan cruise with her family and Memorial Day camping trips to Heber Springs.</p><p><br></p><p> Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia McCurley and Connie Winston; and brother, Randall Gunter.</p><p><br></p><p> Survivors include her husband, W.A. Taylor, Jr.; two sons, William Allen “Dub” Taylor, III of White Hall and Kenneth Taylor and his wife, Katie, of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, William Allen “Billy” Taylor IV and his wife, Brittany, Lauren Allison Taylor (Johnathon Michael Laminack), Joshua Keele, Christopher Keele, Richard Keele and Justin Keele; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Allan Odom, Brantley Mason Cross, Anastasia Claire Laminack, William Allen “Will” Taylor V, Alexia George, Danyelle George, Justin George and Ryan George; and many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.</p><p><br></p><p> A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Johnny Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel, 8302 Dollarway Road in White Hall. The family has asked that if you have a fever or headache that you wait to visit the family until you feel better.</p><p><br></p><p> Memorials may be made to Hardin Baptist Church, 300 Todd Lynn Drive, White Hall, AR 71602.</p><p><br></p><p> Online register: www.RalphRobinsonandSon.com </p><p><br></p>
