Irene Ella Orenchak

<p>Irene Orenchak was born on September 27, 1925 in Farrell, PA to Andrew and Bertha Kovach. She passed away peacefully at a care facility in Surprise, AZ on October 10, 2021 at the age of 96.</p> <p>After graduating from Farrell High School, Irene went into nursing training becoming a Registered Nurse. She served as a private nurse, as well as working at a local hospital in Sharon, PA. She also enjoyed working with young children and it became a passion to become a Pediatric Nurse later in life.</p> <p>She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband Chuck in various businesses. Chuck was a noted home builder in Masury, OH. They also owned a hotel in Palm Springs, CA and a mobile home park in Tucson, AZ.</p> <p>After several years of traveling around the United States, Irene and Chuck settled in Sun City West, AZ. They were some of the first homeowners there in 1985.</p> <p>Irene loved her home and enjoyed the desert surroundings. She enjoyed gardening along with cooking, especially any Hungarian food! She lived in her home for 34 years before moving to a care facility in Surprise, AZ.</p> <p>She was an avid reader and loved going to the Sun City West Library.</p> <p>Irene is survived by her daughter Bonnie Wolin and her husband Jonathan of Laguna Beach, CA and son Tom Orenchak and his wife Kathy of Port Angeles, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Jude&#39;s Childrens Hospital or the Sun City West Library in honor of Irene.</p> <p>Irene&rsquo;s ashes will be buried next to her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.</p> <p>Rest in Peace Mom</p>
