<p>ADAMS, Gary Stephen- Age 68, of Burton, passed away Wednesday October 13, 2021. Cremation has taken place and private family memorial Mass will be celebrated, 11AM Friday October 22, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 6340 Roberta St., Burton. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to Catholic Charities of one's choice. Gary was born September 3, 1953 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Harold and Doris (Lemcool) VanDorn. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1971-1974. Gary enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and banjo. He collected sports memorabilia, coins and antiques. Gary was a fan of John Wayne and war movies. Gary leaves his loving family, Julie Adams; sons, Stephen, Scott (Lisa), Ryan (Hollie); sisters, Jeanne (Terry) Bell, Beth (Tom) Lockwood, and many other family and friends.
