<p>Jeffrey Ronald Eley, 1957-2021.</p><p><br></p><p>Jeff passed away on October 12th at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, with his wife and daughter by his side, following a long illness. Predeceased by his parents, Joshua and Mary Eley, his nephew and his nephew’s wife, Chris and Sonya Baker, and his nephew Robbie Shuttleworth. He will be mourned by his wife Barbara (nee Chagnon), his daughter Sarah (Mark) and his sister Lynne McDonald (Bill). He will be sadly missed by his in-laws, nephews, great-nephews and many members of his extended family. </p><p><br></p><p>Jeff died as he lived, on his own terms. True to his life long habit, he arrived in heaven a little early. </p><p><br></p><p>Special thanks to the LHIN palliative care team, Doctor Lund, Andrea, Jocelyn and Danielle.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place. A small family gathering will be held at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations to Rockwood United Church would be appreciated by the family.
