Amy Elaine Wyatt Devoted Mother Amy Wyatt, 37, of Waynesville, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on October 13, 2021 at Mission Hospital. A native of Haywood County, Amy was the daughter of the late Richard Wyatt and Beverly Smith Wyatt. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Surrett; and grandparents, Viola and Garnett Wyatt and J.T. Smith. Left to cherish Amy’s memory are her son, Evan Allston; mother, Beverly Smith Wyatt; grandmother, Elizabeth Smith; significant other of 7 years, Trevor Campbell; brother, Stacey (Amy) Wyatt; sister, Beth (Chris) Doying; nieces, Leah Wyatt, Brittany Davis, and Christian Wyatt; great nephew, Ronin; her best friend and companion of 16 years, her dog Charlie; along with numerous extended family and friends. Amy was a 2002 graduate of Tuscola High School where she played the flute in the marching band. She loved music, science fiction and fantasy with Dr. Who and Star Wars being her all time favorites. She enjoyed doing ancestry research and being an advocate for victims of injustice. Recently, Amy had become a member of Waynesville Bellydance and was loving it. Amy was a very devoted mother and friend. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, October 18, 2021, at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Dr. Rev. Mark Golden officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Fulbright Cemetery.
