Dolores Setterholm, 94, formerly of Argyle, MN, died on Thursday morning, October 14, 2021, in North Star Assisted Living, Warren, MN.

Dolores Mae was born on July 9, 1927, in Minneapolis, to Henry and Mildred (Thorson) Morberg. As a young girl, she moved to Argyle, attending the Argyle public school and teacher's training in Warren. On June 30, 1948, Dolores was married to Virgil Setterholm, the two making their home together on a farm east of Argyle. Dolores taught at two country schools east of Argyle, and later at St. Rose Elementary for many years. She was also involved with the summer migrant education.

She was a longtime member of both Alma Lutheran Church and Our Savior's Free Lutheran Church. Dolores was actively involved in the WMF, the Argyle Hope Program, the Argyle Historical Society, Argyle Garden Club, and the Argyle Community Club. She also volunteered at the Marshall County Fair until she was unable. When she wasn't serving her family or community, Dolores enjoyed fishing, watching birds, and tending her flowers, and traveling with friends across the United States and to several countries abroad.

Dolores is survived by her children, Glenn (Sheree) Setterholm of Argyle, and Debbie (Gary) Anderson of Strandquist, MN; six grandsons, Reece (Jenny), Garrett (fiancee, Brooklyn), and Brandon (Dana) Setterholm, and Travis (Penni), Ryan (Paula), and Dustin (Ashley) Anderson; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eileen Engen; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Virgil, who passed away on March 23, 1981, Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; infant great-granddaughter, Chloe Anderson; sister, June (Leonard) Bordenkircher; brother-in-law, Clayton Engen; siblings-in-law, Lloyd (Marion), Kenneth (Lorraine), and Ellsworth (Lorraine) Setterholm; and nephew, Bob Bordenkircher.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, October 18, 2021, at 10:30 AM, in Our Savior's Free Lutheran Church, Argyle, MN.
VISITATION: One hour prior, at the church.
INTERMENT: Alma Lutheran Cemetery, rural Argyle, MN.
