Joseph R. Ready, age 82 of Shawano, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 13, 2021 in Appleton. Joe was born on May 2, 1939 in Gresham, a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Flauger) Ready, Sr. He lived in Shawano most of his life, and was employed as a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Shawano; his son, Eric (Tina) Ready, of Shawano; two grandsons, Derek, and Dean Ready; four sisters; and his beloved cat, Buddy.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Fr. Scott Valentyn will be the Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers and plants, the family prefers memorials in the name of Joseph R. Ready.
