Obituary
Funeral services for Michael Morgan Hogan, age 74, will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 16th, 2021, at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church, 289 HWY 338, Dublin, Georgia with Pastor Travis Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mike was a loving husband, devoted Christian father, prized papa, and friend. He enjoyed spending countless hours hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren play baseball, softball, football, soccer, and dancing. He was their #1 fan. In his spare time he enjoyed antiquing and running “Papa’s Pickins.” He was born July 6, 1947 in Dublin, Georgia. He was retired from Southeast Paper and farming. He was a lifelong resident of Dublin, Ga and member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church, where he served in many rolls throughout his more than 60 years of membership. He is preceded in death by his father J.D. Hogan and mother Rebecca Hogan. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon Graham Hogan and two children Kelley (Kyle) Jarrard and Todd (Brin) Hogan, six grandchildren, Chandler Jarrard, Kyley Jarrard, Alex Jarrard, Jacely Hogan, J.D. Hogan, and Kenzie Hogan, sister Anna (Bill) Horn of Hilton Head, SC, brother Sonny (Lina) Hogan of Dublin, Nephew David (Krista) Hogan, Niece, Dawn (Doug) Bethea, Brother-In-Law, Tom (Linda) Graham, nephew Travis (Holly) Graham, niece Lauren (Travis) Polk and other loved great nieces, nephews and family. Pallbearers will be Sean Clark, Shawn McGowan, Shane Richardson, Brian Mallette, Dylan Hogan and Josh Crawford. Honorary Family Pallbearers will be Chandler Jarrard, J.D. Hogan, Andrew Bethea, Doug Bethea, David Hogan, Tom Graham and Travis Polk. The family will receive friends from 9:45-10:45am on Saturday, October 16th in the church prior to the service. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
