Harold L. Yoder

<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Harold L. Yoder, 84, of Middlebury, died at 11:46 am on Wednesday, October 13 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born on March 20, 1937, in LaGrange, to Manas and Louise (Schwietert) Yoder. On October 3, 1964, in Elkhart County, he married Elaine Snyder, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are six daughters, JoLynn Yoder of Wichita, KS, Tracy Writtenhouse of Bristol, Grace Talarico of Philippines, Chanh Ly of CA, Yvonne (Hieu) Ngo of Dallas, TX, Tem (John) Stephens of Middlebury; seven sons, Jerry (Jene) Yoder of Topeka, KS, Barry (Tonya) Yoder of Middlebury, Corey Yoder of Valparaiso, Thanh P. Nguyen of Houston, TX, David (Dung) Duong of Goshen, Richard (Joanna) Gorski of Charlotte, NC, Lee (Trinh) Ly of Fort Wayne; 22 grandchildren, one great grandchild; two sisters, LeAnna (Raymond) Yoder of Loogootee, Rebecca &quot;Becky&quot; (Ed) Arnold of Goshen; three brothers, John (Margaret) Yoder of Middlebury, Melvin (Anna Mae) Yoder of Goshen, Dave (Patty) Yoder of Middlebury; brother-in-law, John Boley of Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Arlene Boley. Harold was a member of Sugar Grove Church and retired as a shipping inspector in the manufactured housing industry. He was a Sergeant in the Army serving in Germany as a Teletype Operator. He especially loved being outdoors driving his tractor and going fishing. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday, October 18 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 19 at Sugar Grove Church, 58512 Old County Rd 17, Goshen, followed by an 11:30 am graveside service in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to Water for Life.&nbsp; </strong></span></p>
