Funeral services for Angela Kay Godwin, age 49, of Sarepta, LA, will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Bailey Funeral Home chapel in Springhill, LA with Bro. Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in Old Sarepta Cemetery, Sarepta, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Godwin was born on October 16, 1971 to Roger Dale and Sandra Teutsch Sides in Germany and passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Sarepta, LA. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother. She had a heart of pure gold, was kind hearted and would do anything for anyone. She was a strong independent woman who lived a happy and spontaneous life. She loved all animals, but especially dogs, and enjoyed flowers and being outside. She enjoyed cooking for her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Sides and husband John of Sarepta, LA; brother, Anthony Arnold of Corvalis, OR; son, Patrick Tomlinson and wife Laura of Shreveport, LA; and daughter, Pamala Tomlinson of Sarepta, LA.
