Charlie Raymond Kimble, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial Mr. Charlie Raymond Kimble, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport, La. with Fr. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Burial will be at Christ the King Mausoleum in Simmesport, LA under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA. Mr. Charlie Kimble, 86, of Simmesport, LA. passed from this life on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport, LA. Mr. Kimble is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Annie Nichols Kimble, Sr.; son, Jimmy Kimble; brothers, Will Kimble, Tony Kimble, Sidney Kimble, Murphy Kimble, Ernest (“Pee Wee”) Kimble, Jr.; sisters, Sadie Guillot, and Mandy Ducote. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 68 years, Jeanette Couvillion Kimble; sons, Charlie Kimble, Jr. (Vera) of Newton, Texas, Johnnie Kimble (Juliet) of Flint, Texas, Bobby Kimble of Simmesport, LA., Greg Kimble (Christie) of Simmesport, LA.; daughters, Dolores Lopez (Gary) of Slaughter, LA., Connie Holloway of Cottonport, LA., Charlene Polotzola (Steve) of Bayou Current, LA., Shantell St. Romain (Ricky) of Simmesport, LA.; sisters, Aline Olivier (Jimmy) of Robert, LA. and Lucille Easley of Mississippi. He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Austin St. Romain, Ryan Polotzola, Chris Polotzola, Brandon Jeansonne, Sean Kimble, Nick Kimble, Ricky St. Romain, and Beau Lambert. The family would like to give a special thanks to Bayou Chateau Nursing Home , Avoyelles Hospital, and All Saints Hospice for all the guidance, love, and care they provided during this critical time, and a special thanks to Linda Brouillette, family, and friends.
