Delbert Bilow Obituary

Delbert was born on September 2nd, 1951 at Homestead,  Powell to John Sr. and Beatrice Bilow. He was one of six siblings that they had.

Delbert met his wife Myrtle in February of 1983 and later they married on September 29, 1990. They had five children Anthony, Joey, Lorna, Shawna and Leslie. Later on in life, those children provided Delbert and Myrtle with 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Delbert enjoyed being around the children making each day an adventure such as ski doo rides, quad rides, coloring, sledding, and ice fishing. Seeing the kids being happy is what really made him happy. He would go above and beyond for them.

Delbert worked as a heavy equipment operator for many places in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and even the Northwest Territories. He drove a school bus, and transported patients from Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation for a few years. Delbert enjoyed camping with his grandchildren, local friends, and  family. Fishing was his favorite time and picking berries with his wife.

Delbert was predeceased by his parents; stepdaughter Louise Victoria; sister Joan Shenk; brother-in-laws Eddy Ferland, George Kulhavy, and Lawrence Brass; sister-in-laws Rose Brass, and Adeline Chartrand; grandson Darius Brass; great-grandchildren Reagan and Forever; son-in-law Darren Mink.
