Dora Rosalie Lindt Dora R. “Rose” Lindt, 87, of Colorado Springs passed away on February 25, 2018. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 65 years and was formerly a resident of Hugo, Colorado. She was a keypunch operator at Ampex for over 20 years, where she retired from. Rose was born on June 12, 1930 to Andrew Jackson Campbell and Sopha Susanne (Glaue) Campbell in Hugo, Colorado. She attended Hugo Union High School, and graduated in 1947. She was married September 3, 1948, in Raton, New Mexico, to Harold F. Lindt, who is deceased. Rose enjoyed snowmobiling in her earlier years. She enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing. She also enjoyed country music and dancing, but mostly she loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children: a son, Jack Lindt of Colorado Springs, and a daughter, Cynthia Turner (Marlon) of Colorado Springs; a sister, Iva Mae Howey of Colorado Springs; and 2 grandchildren. A son, Wayne Lindt, and her parents, Andrew Campbell and Susan Marquand, preceded her in death. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. There will be a reception following the service at Marlon and Cyndee’s home. A private entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Columbarium of Acacia on Friday, March 9, 2018 for family only. Memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
