Charles Michael (Mike) Willis

Charles Michael (Mike) Willis, age 70, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 after an extended illness, He went to be with his Lord at his residence with his family at his side. Mike was born November 06, 1950 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was the son of the late Earl & Lucille Willis. Mike and his wife Saphronia were married on January 06, 1972. Which at this time is only a few months short of their 50th anniversary. He was a retired Teamster. He drove trucks for over 45 years. Mike was a Christian and loved ministering in Word & Song at many area rest homes and churches with his wife, Saphronia. He was a prankster and enjoyed pranking with the grandchildren. He loved his old horse, Elvis, and a special Yorkshire Terrier named Baby Bell. And he loved taking long trail rides with his son, Jackie, and favorite nephew, Fermon (Bub) Shepherd Jr. Mike was very charismatic and enjoyed his many friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Rex Willis and Gary Willis, Jean Rice, Linda Cooper and Martha Fraley. Mike is survived by a son Jackie Wayne Willis and his grandchildren Savannah Lucas, Jaclyn Roe and Nathan Willis. His great grandchildren Kamdyn Lucas, Colton Roe and Reese Roe. He is also survived by four sisters: Pat Coburn, Karen McGee, Catherine Sparks and Pam Ratcliff. Also two children Paul Willis & Earl Willis.
