Carol Ann Henaire Obituary

Carol Ann Henaire, 68, of Saco, passed away on October 12, 2021. She was born in Biddeford on August 30, 1953, daughter to the late Gerard and Lorraine (Roy) Petit. Carol was a true “girly girl” – she took great pride in her appearance and was always well put together. Everything from her well-manicured fingernails to her hair and favorite shoes, she was a sight to see. Carol had an infectious smile and a heart of gold. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved and nothing she wouldn’t sacrifice for their happiness – most of all her children. She loved her children and her family unconditionally. Her bond with her children was a special one. It remained unchanged by time and distance. The purest form of love. Unconditional and true. She was understanding of any situation and forgiving of any mistakes. Together with Joe – more affectionately called “My Joe” – they were the two misfits that found each other. She embraced his culture – often times visiting Pow-Wow’s and Native American ceremonies with him - and so appreciated his uplifting and loving personality. He was her rock and truly the love of her life. Carol is survived by her loving partner of 16 years, Joe Dacong; her children, Brandon and Dylan Henaire; her sisters, Diane Petit and Mary Louise Howarth; her brothers, Scott Janelle, Ted Petit and Jimmy Petit. She was predeceased by her brothers, Tommy, Michael Petit. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 29th from 9am-11am with a funeral service following at 11am both at Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco, immediately following the service.
