Lorna Mae Isabel Rihn Gall Obituary

Lorna Mae Isabel Rihn Gall, age 94, of Connoquenessing Twp., passed into the presence of her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at home. Born February 10, 1927 in Davenport, FL, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. Rihn and Merle Specht Rihn. Lorna was a member at the Community Alliance Church and for many years she played piano in the Beginner’s Department in the Sunday school. She was employed in various custodial positions for 21 ½ years in the administration building at Butler High School. Following her retirement in February 1989, she did babysitting and dog sitting. Lorna was a member of the Butler Christian Woman’s Club where she played piano. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, stamp collecting, baking, cooking, bell and crystal collecting and being a grandmother. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Lorna leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Nancy E. Timblin and her husband, Rev. Ronald V. Timblin of Chico, CA; her seven grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; her eight great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Lance E. Rihn of Florida, Marjorie Davis of California, Iola Biernesser of California, Lucille Polliard of Prospect, and Lorraine Kerr of Wildwood; and her seven nieces and five nephews. In addition to her parents, Lorna was preceded in death by her son, Timothy I. Gall; and her sister, Winifred; and her brother, Lawrence Rihn, Jr. Friends will be received from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Twp., 856 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053. A service will be held at the funeral home at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, with Rev. Dr. Dennis Krajacic, officiating. Lorna will be laid to rest at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Lorna to the Mission Fund of the Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Rd., Butler, PA 16001.
