Jane E. Colopy, age 90 of North Canton, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 following a brief illness. 
She was born March 27, 1931, in Cuyahoga Falls, the daughter of the late Ira and Mary (Hansen) Shiplett.
Jane retired after 44 years of service as a teacher from area Catholic schools, St. Mary, Sts. Philip and James, Joan of Arc, and St. Angela Merici Catholic Schools.  
She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish, she was also tuition clerk at St. Mary's School, a lector, and Eucharistic minister at St. Mary Church.
Jane is survived by three daughters, Mary (Ernest) Lambos, Amy (Jack) Barahona, Linda (Walter) Summerhill; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  
She was preceded in death by husband, James S. Colopy, one brother and three sisters.
In accordance with Jane's wishes, private graveside memorial services were held at Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in Canal Fulton.
