Kett, Ronald G

1938 – 2021

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Ronald Kett on October 13th, 2021, at the age of 83. Beloved son of the late Gerald and Irene Kett (née Gordon).

Although born with an intellectual disability, Ron gave his family the gift of perspective, “Different does not mean less.”

Ron is survived and will be sadly missed by his sisters Karen Kett-Simmons (Richard), Janice Holditch (Douglas) and Deborah Beers (Michael). He will be lovingly remembered by his 8 nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Grandview Residence who cared for Ronald during his 30 plus years of residency with them. He was treated with respect and kindness and truly became like family to him.

The immediate family will gather for a private celebration of Ronald’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Community Living of Greater Sudbury in his name would be greatly appreciated. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North.
