<p><strong>Ann Marie (Coppock)Buchmeier, 79,&nbsp;of Kellogg passed away&nbsp;on Monday, October 11, 2021, at MercyOne Newton Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.&nbsp;&nbsp;Memorials to the Kellogg Historical Society may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.&nbsp;<br /> Ann, the daughter of Ralph and Martha (Johnson) Coppock was born on April 7, 1942, in Marshalltown. She graduated from SEMCO in 1960. On June 25, 1961, she was united in marriage with Carl Buchmeier in Gilman. After marriage they settled on the Buchmeier farm near Rock Creek where they raised livestock and grain.&nbsp;<br /> Ann learned how to play the piano and organ at a young age. After marrying Carl she became a member of Saint Paul&rsquo;s Lutheran Church in Kellogg and was the pianist &nbsp;and organist until it closed. Music was very spiritual for Ann, she played for many special events for family, friends, and neighbors.<br /> Ann was a devoted farm wife, also enjoying traveling, shopping, and especially playing cards with her family after a great meal.<br /> Ann is survived by her daughter, Susan Springer of Kellogg; son, Steven Buchmeier of Kellogg; grandsons, Hunter Springer (Megan) of Newton, Dakota Springer of Kellogg, and Jared Buchmeier of Kellogg; and great-granddaughter, Katie Springer of Newton; her brother Ronald Coppock (Shirley) of Wichita, Kansas; sister-in-law, Lena Clapper (Dennis) of Rhodes ;and several nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl in 2000; and granddaughter, Kalleen in 2011.</strong></p>
