<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Philip James Labranch<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Former owner of Pelham Pharmacy;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Philip James Labranch, 84, a long-time resident of Pelham, NH, and Kennebunk Beach, ME, died on October 11, 2021 at Fairview Healthcare in Hudson, NH.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He was the beloved husband of Dorothea A. (Plunkett) Labranch, with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Born October 20, 1936, in Portsmouth, NH, the son of the late Charles C. and Mary E. (Wholey) Labranch, he was a 1955 graduate of Newmarket High School, and a 1959 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A veteran of the US Army (1959-1961), he served in the Panama Canal Zone.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Phil began his career as a pharmacist at Newman&rsquo;s Pharmacy in Dover, NH, moved to Pelham, NH, becoming owner of Plunkett&rsquo;s Drug Store in 1973, which he renamed Pelham Pharmacy. He retired in 1997.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Always active in his community, Phil was a long-time member of the Pelham Lions Club, serving two terms as President. He coached Biddy Basketball, umpired Little League and served on the Pelham School Board for twelve years. He was a member of the building committee for the construction of Pelham High School and a member of the Greeley Singers.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A history enthusiast, Phil loved geography and travel, especially along the coast of Maine. He was also an avid New England Sports fan.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In addition to his wife, Phil is survived by a son, Kevin P. Labranch of San Francisco, CA; two daughters, Susan Dolaher and her husband Mark of Melrose, MA, and Lisa Reddig of Hudson, NH; four grandsons, Ian and William Dolaher and Zachary and Connor Reddig; a sister, Maureen Tremblay, her husband Michael and family of Poughkeepsie, NY, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Phil was predeceased by his brother, Daniel C. Labranch.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The family wishes to extend their profound thanks to the staff of the Fairview Healthcare in Hudson, NH for their compassionate care during Phil&rsquo;s residence.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Friends may call on Sunday, October 17 at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 2 to 5 P.M.     Philip James Labranch, 84, a long-time resident of Pelham, NH, and Kennebunk Beach, ME, died on October 11, 2021 at Fairview Healthcare in Hudson, NH.
    He was the beloved husband of Dorothea A. (Plunkett) Labranch, with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage.
    Born October 20, 1936, in Portsmouth, NH, the son of the late Charles C. and Mary E. (Wholey) Labranch, he was a 1955 graduate of Newmarket High School, and a 1959 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA.
