Miss Maranda Lynn Hitt, age 44, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Navicent Health Care Hospital (Macon, Georgia). Miss Hitt was born on October 1, 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Michael Wayne Rose and Mrs. Wanda Rose. She was adopted at three months old by Mr. Marvin Glenn Hitt and Mrs. Betty Jane (Rose) Hitt Ditchkoff. She worked as a caretaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and niece. She was preceded in death by her adopted father, Marvin Glenn Hitt; her biological father, Michael Wayne Rose; her stepfather, Jerry Ditchkoff and her brother, Jody Hitt. Maranda is survived by her sons, Bobby Wright and Jeremiah Morris; her grandchildren Kayla Wright and Ky'Leigh Landry; her biological mother, Wanda Davis (Tony, Sr.); her mother, Betty Jane Rose Ditchkoff; her grandmother, Theresa Spicci; her brothers, Glenn Hitt (Barbara), Jason Hitt (Shawn) and Tony Davis, Jr.; her sisters, Selena Hitt, Rachel Rose and Sabrina Davis; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Miss Maranda Lynn Hitt will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating. She will be cremated following the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
