Caryn Iola Giusti Chicago, Illinois Obituary

Caryn Iola Giusti

As a friend wrote, "In remembrance of the beautiful spirit of Caryn. We'll miss her dearly....". No truer words could have been written. Caryn enjoyed life! She could make a telephone post talk if it were possible. Her kindness and enjoyment are what drew people to her. Born with a twin sister, Caryl Iona Giusti, they shared many lasting memories; especially with other family members. These included those memories with her old sister, Joanne Lotus Giusti, her deceased parents, Lucille and Harold Giusti, and her deceased cousins, Eunice Dittman and Edwin Jorstad, who lived in the family home before both of their marriages. Caryn loved to dance, swim, bicycle, read, and go on AYH outings. She celebrated all holidays with exuberance and loved to surprise everyone with interesting gifts. Caryn was an excellent cook, and prepared many meals for family and friends. Caryn graduated from Illinois State (Normal) University with a Special Education Degree enabling her to set up and teach students in a Resource Room for blind and partially sighted students in Norridge, Illinois. For many years, she worked for GTE as a Data Entry Specialist and held a supervising position for some time before it closed it's doors. The most important accomplishment was that she loved and was kind. As her friend again wrote, "She is beginning her glorious new life".
