A Memorial Service for Mr. Michael L. Ramzy, 67, of Jacksonville, will be held at a later date. Mr. Ramzy passed away October 13, 2021 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center. Mr. Ramzy was born November 2, 1957 in Austin, TX. He spent his childhood in Newell, AL. Mr. Ramzy graduated from Anniston High School class of 1972 and went on to graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Jacksonville State University class of 1978. He had been a resident of Jacksonville for the past 28 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Mr. Ramzy had been employed with Moore Business Forms, British American Bank Note, MEAD Ink Products, and most recently was the owner of STAR Enterprises in Jacksonville. He enjoyed playing the guitar, writing songs, and listening to music. He had a passion for researching and reading about history, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, and being an auto mechanic. He will be most remembered for spending time with his family, helping care for his in-laws, and teaching his children. Mr. Ramzy is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Carl Oslin Ramzy Jr., MD and Myrtis Ellen Reaves Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Judy M. Ramzy of Jacksonville; his children, Joseph M. Ramzy of Jacksonville and Kelly M. Ramzy Boonloed and her husband, Tony, of Portland, Oregon; his future grandchild; step brothers, Carl O.
