Xavia L. Fox Obituary

Xavia Lenise Fox, affectionately known as "Zae", was born on August 27, 1982, in Indianapolis, Indiana to April Fuqua and Robert Earl Fox.

Xavia grew up and attended IPS schools on the near Eastside as well as attending Maple Heights High school for a short amount of time where she would make lifelong friendships. Xavia knew Christ and rejoiced in the Lord. She was a fearless, funny, pure of heart and full of love sort of person. She would definitely leave an impression on you that would be hard to forget about.

From a young age you knew she was talented, smart, and quick to act, and she only became better as she grew. Xavia was a kindred soul, full of life and saw the world through lenses all her own. She walked along life through her own music, forging a path that was hard to follow in her footsteps.

Xavia gave birth to 4 beautiful children she cherished in her heart for all time: Jada, Tywan, Dexter, and Kwali. Being a mother and having such precious gifts was always within her and on her heart to give love the best she knew how for her children.

Xavia was second oldest to several siblings including, Robert "Tom" Fox, Mary Williams, Melissa Fox, Shawn Fox, Keithlanae Fuqua and Keith Fuqua Jr. and is also survived by step-siblings, John Lane, Brittany Ross and Christopher Blackburn and a host of nieces and nephews. To know Xavia was truly to love her, if you were open to receive what only Zae could give. She was a no nonsense, free spirited, fun and bold Beautiful young women. Her memory serves many good laughs, beautiful moments, hard to forget times, and sweet minutes.

Xavia Lenise Fox parted this earth on October 8, 2021, to the surprise of everyone who knew her, but if God knows best, He had a plan for this angel and needed her at this time. Those who knew her should take her memory and use it to propel yourself into your dreams and wishes. To motivate you to stay strong and continue to be original and fearless. Use her to remember to love without restraint, laugh often, hug always, and kiss them goodbye.

For Zae's life has transcended to everlasting Power, we all now hold a piece of her light within us and can let it keep us whole, grow us even that tiny bit. Serve as a reminder to keep pushing. Be that bright smile that turns things upside down. Xavia Lenise Fox will always be celebrated, remembered and kept in hearts of those that loved her.
