William E. Fell, Sr.

William E. Fell, Sr., 80, of West Chester, PA passed away on October 12, 2021. Bill was born in West Chester in 1940 and was the beloved son of the late Francis Edwin and Kathyrn McGrogan Fell. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet Loncala Fell, his eldest son William E. Fell, Jr. “Bill” and his wife Marguerite Kraftson Fell “Meg”; his youngest son, Brian M. Fell and his wife Grace Young Fell and their children: Grant, Grayson, Noah, and Blake. He is also survived by his sister Kathyrn Fell Stetka. Bill graduated from Bishop Shanahan High School in 1959 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Wesley College. He worked for the majority of his career for the Pennwalt Corporation/Atochem North America/Arkema, initially in Sales and Marketing and later as a Division President. Mr. Fell was an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America. His initial involvement was with his sons Bill, Jr. and Brian, as a Cubmaster with Cub Scout Pack 105 in Exton and later with Boy Scout Troop 105. He continued working with the Boy Scouts well into his 70s, participating in Eagle Scout Boards of Review with the Chester County Council. Bill Sr. enjoyed golfing, travelling with Janet, spending time with his children and grandchildren and being an active member of his community. At Bill’s request, no funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the March of Dimes or the Chester County Council of the Boy Scouts of America (www.cccbsa.org).
