James Alexander Lehman, residing in West Hollywood, CA; formerly of South Bend, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Los Angeles at the age of 32 years old.

He was born January 17, 1989 in South Bend, and was the son of Thomas L. & Bonnie Jo (Fenske) Lehman, and was a 2007 graduate of Elkhart Christian Academy.  While growing up, Alex attended Trinity Evangelical Free Church in South Bend with his family.

In 2015, Alex moved to Los Angeles where he recently was working as a Screening Events Facilitator for Screen Engine, PPLC.

He is survived by his parents, Tom & Bonnie Lehman, his sister and brother-in-law, Kati & Jeremy Drudy of Wisconsin, aunts and uncles, Sandy Newton, Rick Holm, Vicki & Dave Treat and Jean & Robert Wolf, along with many cousins, and friends in California, Chloe, Courtney, Gilbert, and Jayson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Frank & Mabel Fenske, paternal grandparents, Wilmer & Maxine Lehman, and his beloved aunt, Sharyl Holm.

He was as skilled with the microphone as he was gifted playing the piano, guitar, violin and harp.  His gift to those who knew him was his smile and empathic heart and abundant kindness.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 25, at Trinity Evangelical Free Church, 61770 Miami Road, South Bend.  Pastor Joshua Brooks will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 -11:30 Monday at the Church.  Graveside services and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
