I'm sending condolences to John's family and friends. We often enjoyed meeting for coffee hour at church, lunch at Northwoods or making puzzles at Hilda Carlson's. I miss his sense of humor and quiet friendliness. Sorry to lose him. Maggie King

When I was young John's mother lived across the street and I have many fond memories of spending time with her. I met John on a few occasions and thought his children were adorable. I am sorry for your great loss.

My dad was the strongest bravest man I know. He was a great dad. He taught us kids to bowl and fish. He took us camping. We always had fun with dad. All my memories are fond memories. I will miss him so much. My heart hurts so bad.

I remember playing baseball as a kid with John. He was really a nice guy and could hit the ball a country mile. Rest In Peace, John.
