<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>John Tom Kalogeras, age 53, of Brecksville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.</p> <p>John was born August 22, 1968 in Canton, OH; beloved son of Rena (nee Liakaris) and the late Tom J. Kalogeras.</p> <p>John loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved running, grilling, and all things sports. John was selfless and always giving of himself while expecting nothing in return. He was a generous, caring man who was a true animal lover. John was a member of The Order of AHEPA. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>John will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Kimberly Kalogeras (nee Lytkowski); treasured daughter, Kimberlyn Kalogeras, dearest mother, Rena; loving sister, Olga Kalogeras; parents-in-law, Dale and Dolores Lytkowski; sisters-in-law, Kelly Dutton (Bill) and Karli Jaffe (Evan). He is also a cherished uncle, nephew, and friend of many.</p> <p>Funeral service will take place at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 South Union St., Akron, OH 44304. Friends may call from 10:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be private.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John&rsquo;s name are suggested to Canton McKinley High School Athletic Department, 2323 17th St NW, Canton, OH 44708, the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113, or Walsh University Athletic Department, 2020 East Maple Street, North Canton, OH 44720.</p> <p>Services in care of The Billow Funeral Homes and Crematory, Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. John Tom Kalogeras, age 53, of Brecksville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

John was born August 22, 1968 in Canton, OH; beloved son of Rena (nee Liakaris) and the late Tom J. Kalogeras.

John loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved running, grilling, and all things sports. John was selfless and always giving of himself while expecting nothing in return.
