Billy Junior Brownlee, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Jackson, MS. He was born to Billy Joe Brownlee and Nellie Jean Badeaux on January 31, 1964, in Jackson, MS. Before retiring, he worked for many years as a truck driver. Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking out and playing checkers. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Robbie Brownlee (Rachel); son, Josh McCraw (Santana); daughters, Heather Salers, Tiffany Melton (William); sisters, Karen Frazier (Billy), Donna Wilborn (Nolan); grandchildren, Joshua McCraw Jr., Rylee McCraw, Faith Salers and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Diana Renee Salers. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee with the service following at Tutor Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Tutor Funeral Home to help with expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
