Mary R. (Chulack) Rickard, a resident of Newington, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021. Born on August 5, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late Charles J. Chulack, Sr. and Jennie (Scansarolli) Chulack. She was the beloved wife of the late R. Barry Rickard for 36 years. He preceded her in death in 2005. Mary earned a Bachelor Degree in Education and two graduate degrees, and prior to her retirement, she was a teacher in the Meriden Public Schools. In her leisure time she enjoyed politics, reading, crosswords and word games. She is survived by her brothers, Charles (Nancy) Chulack, Jr. and Peter (Mary) Chulack, as well as various nieces and nephews. Mary will be laid to rest privately in Pennsylvania.
