Paul Edward Perry

Paul Edward (Bo Jim), age 77 of Greensboro, AL., formerly of Demopolis, AL., passed away October 13, 2021, at home, under Encompass Hospice Care.<br><br>The funeral service will be 2:00p.m., Friday, October 15, 2021, at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South of Tuscaloosa directing. <br>Paul was the second of four siblings-Charlotte P. Waters, Rogers Perry (Jan) and Glenn Perry (Betty)-born to Carrie Lena Rogers and Edward Merdith Perry. After graduating from Greensboro High School, Paul began a forty-two-year career with Alabama Power Company from which he retired in 2008. He was a member and deacon of Antioch Baptist Church.<br><br>Paul was preceded in death by his parents. <br><br>Survivors include his wife, Maxine Rhodes Perry, daughter, Lena Marie Perry Broussard and her husband, Jimmy Lane, special care giver, Brenda Hambright and Kersey Hinton. Paul is also survived by a special brother-in-law, Nilmon Rhodes (Jean), devoted sister-in-law and husband, Peggy Rhodes McDaniel and Joe McDaniel, step grandchildren; Lane Ankrom (Keith), Taylor Broussard (Alana), Clint Broussard, step great grandchildren; William Lane Horner and Loren Horner, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends. <br><br>In Lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 57, Greensboro, AL. 36744.<br>
