Paul Edward (Bo Jim), age 77 of Greensboro, AL., formerly of Demopolis, AL., passed away October 13, 2021, at home, under Encompass Hospice Care.

The funeral service will be 2:00p.m., Friday, October 15, 2021, at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South of Tuscaloosa directing.
Paul was the second of four siblings-Charlotte P. Waters, Rogers Perry (Jan) and Glenn Perry (Betty)-born to Carrie Lena Rogers and Edward Merdith Perry. After graduating from Greensboro High School, Paul began a forty-two-year career with Alabama Power Company from which he retired in 2008. He was a member and deacon of Antioch Baptist Church.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Rhodes Perry, daughter, Lena Marie Perry Broussard and her husband, Jimmy Lane, special care giver, Brenda Hambright and Kersey Hinton. Paul is also survived by a special brother-in-law, Nilmon Rhodes (Jean), devoted sister-in-law and husband, Peggy Rhodes McDaniel and Joe McDaniel, step grandchildren; Lane Ankrom (Keith), Taylor Broussard (Alana), Clint Broussard, step great grandchildren; William Lane Horner and Loren Horner, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.
