Donna Mae Storozuk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Donna Storozuk (nee Mott) on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.


She leaves to mourn her passing; her son, Trevor Storozuk; her sister, Marlene Lee; her son-in-law, Bryan Briere, granddaughter, Riley Briere (Brody Hewitt) and two great-grandsons; Tripp and Hayes Hewitt. Along with her step-children, Shelley (Colin) Allard, Sandra (Sandy Hunter) Dufour, and grandchildren, Nicholas, Megan, Becki, Jodi, Casey, Alexa and Liana; and great-grandchildren, Axel, Addison, Lucas and Blake; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Donna was predeceased by her partner, Phil Dufour; her parents, George and Elizabeth Mott, her son, Gregory “Dean” Storozuk; her daughter, Robin Briere; her sister, Catherine Bodin; her first husband, Stanley Storozuk; and her step-daughter, Lana Karasiuk (Gerry).


Donna was born in Hartney, Manitoba. She moved her family to Prince Albert in 1969. She worked for numerous years as the District Manager for Avon before retiring to Spiritwood. Donna will be remembered for her long conversations, wonderful cooking, great card playing skills, and her unconditional love.


A Funeral Service for Donna will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Calvary United Church, 114 25th Street East, Prince Albert, with Rev. Nora Vedress as Officiant. A Private Family Interment will follow. In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 26 - 1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9 or the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, Suite 202 - 1001 1st Street SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 5G3.
