Maurice Joseph Poirier passed away peacefully at the Lafleche and District Health Centre on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at the age of 81. Maurice was born in Glentworth, Saskatchewan July 19th, 1940. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Joyce (Sephton), and their children Monty Poirier (Bev), Sherry Sproule (David) and Don Poirier (Tracy); Grandchildren are Terence Poirier (Bonnie), Tasha Poirier (Kyle Brodie), Kaylin Poirier, Emily Gillis (Sproule) (Jim Gillis), Audrey Sproule (Antonin Rey), Duncan Sproule (Nicole), Jeremy Poirier and Marcus Poirier. Great Grandchildren are Emerson and Cassidy Poirier, River and Reno Brodie and Mabel, Flora and Betty Gillis. Private funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021, 2:00 p.m. A livestream for this service will be available on Piche-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapels Facebook page five minutes prior to service time.
