Jennifer R. Tissue, 71, of Crystal, passed away on October 12, 2021, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. Jennifer was born on September 11, 1950, in Lansing, the daughter of Garnard and Genevieve Hidecker. She was adventurous, loyal, loving, and independent. She retired from General Motors SPO after 30 plus years of work. When her daughters were younger, Jennifer was the team mom for competitive Pom Pon, and during those times became a chauffeur, hairstylist, makeup artist and professional motivator to her teams, she was an involved mother who took many kids under her care, and she loved every minute of it. After her retirement, yard sales, crafting, flea markets and visiting antique stores kept her busy. She loved the water and doing all sorts of water activities, she enjoyed traveling and was always up for an adventure, especially going up north. Spending time with family, especially her grandkids, was very special to her, and the time she spent with them will always be cherished. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Genevieve (Rob) Eicher, Angela (David Johnson) Tissue; her grandchildren, Shawna (Richard) Roberts, Robby Eicher, Andrew Tissue; great grandkids, Kayla Roberts, Trinity Roberts, Tristan Roberts, her sister, Jocelyn (Allen) Heksem; nieces, Diane (Josh) Rouse, Christina Heksem; nephew, Ryan (Jessica) Heksem, her beloved great nieces and nephews, along with many other extended family and friends. A time to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be held November 6, 2021, at Simpson Family Funeral Homes, Sheridan from 12pm-3pm, please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows.
