Phyllis S. Pulice of Palm, PA formerly of Scranton, PA, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Lutheran Home of Topton in Topton, PA where she had resided since June 2020. Born on May 10, 1930 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Caroline Renda Pulice. She and her sister, Rose, were inseparable. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She especially loved her nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses, CNAs and caregivers at the Lutheran Home and Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary in Scranton, PA. Surviving is her sister-in-law, Carmella Pulice. She is also survived by her nephew, Dominick A. Pulice, and his wife, Joanne, East Greenville, PA; her niece, Caroline Vadala, and her husband, Phillip, Binghamton, NY; her niece, Caroline Petrauskas, and her husband, Michael, Clarks Summit, PA; her niece, Carmel Oressey and her husband, Dennis, Scranton, PA; her nephew, Frank Pulice and his wife, Kelly, Moscow, PA, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephews and great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rose, her three brothers, Anthony, James and Frank and her niece, Margaret Pulice Arvay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10:00 am in Mary, Mother of God Parish, 316 William Street, Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Friends and family may call Tuesday in the church from 9:30 am until the Mass time. Attendees for the services are kindly asked to adhere to the CDC social distancing and a mask will be required.
