Barbara J. Reyhl 1935 ~ 2021  SUTTONS BAY – Barbara Jean Reyhl, 86, of Suttons Bay, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born May 21, 1935 in Howell the daughter of William and Fern Schadel.  She married Fredric L. Reyhl who survives. Barbara was raised in Fowlerville, Michigan, where she lived most of her life, graduating from Fowlerville High School, marrying her husband, Fred, and raising their five children.  She and Fred relocated to Suttons Bay, to enjoy retirement and time with family.  She will be remembered, and missed, for her selfless devotion to her family, church, friends, and community. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Fredric; a sister, Alberta (John Norman) DeMarais; her children, Robbin (Douglas) Behnke, Rex (Maureen) Reyhl, Richard (Karen) Reyhl, and Ronald (Kay) Reyhl; a son-in-law, Theodore (Nancy) Mather; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rachel Mather; and a grandson, Bradley Mather. A private family celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date.
