The family of Gustav Rode of Edmonton, AB formerly of Westlock, AB is saddened to announce his passing on October 11, 2021 at the age of 89 years.

He will be remembered by his loving wife Dorine of 68 years; daughters, Mona (Donald) Properzi, Rhonda (Dale) Davis and Bonnie Rode; grandchildren, Tim (Tracy) Properzi, Dennis (Hollie) Properzi, Kristy (Frans) Bouius, Cory (Jessica) Davis, Brent (Chantel) Davis, 13 great grandchildren and brother Harold.

He was predeceased by parents Rudolf and Leokadia, brothers Arnold, Leo, Fred and sister Ida VanTamelen.

Gus operated the Westlock Esso Business until his retirement at the age of 55 and lived in Edmonton until his death.

At Gus’s request no service will be held.
