Joyce Kemp Miller, 83, of Woodlawn, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born May, 5, 1938 in Fouke (Miller County) to the late Clarence Russell and Pearl Virgie Lantrip Kemp.

Joyce was reared and educated in Genoa, graduating from Genoa Central High School in 1958. After her marriage, she moved to Pine Bluff, then to Woodlawn in 1971. Joyce was a cafeteria worker for Woodlawn schools for 27 years, until her retirement. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.

Joyce was loved and will be missed by everybody that knew her. She loved helping others, and always put everyone before herself.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Alfred Miller, whom she married October 4, 1963 in Pine Bluff; daughter, Cindy “Michelle” Marzano; grandchildren, Brittany Nichole Marzano and Tristen Miller; and brother, Boyce Kemp.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Kimberly “Renee” Miller of Woodlawn; son, Boyce Miller of Woodlawn; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sisters, Eunice Kreher and Inez Kemp.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Ralph Robinson and Son. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday.
