Mario Chavez was born on May 20, 1973 in Hanford California. He was the youngest of three kids to that union, to Romelia (Molly) Alegria and Miguel Mendoza Chavez. Mario attended school in the San Jose school district from grade school, to high school. Mario met and fell in love with his high school sweet heart Felicia Box he has been known to say (I pulled a senior girl) of this union. They had two sons Mario Chavez Jr (MJ) and Brandon Chavez. They were married 23 years until her passing. He was a man blessed with many skills. He worked in construction building new in ground pools and landscaping yards. Mario was also a very skillful mechanic. Honesty, there wasn’t any task that Mario Chavez wasn’t capable of doing, once he set his mind on it. Mario was a man that demanded respect and he gave respect. He was respected by everyone that crossed his path. A very loving and kind man that would help anyone in any way he could. He loved his boys dearly, and absolutely adored his mother Molly and big sister Lorena as well as his brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews and we all loved him. He was known to travel from Sacramento to Wasco & Bakersfield visiting his sons and gathering with his family and cousins from out of town. They had fun laughing and telling jokes…several of his favorite sayings were: (“Mario…varrio NORTH SIDE!!”)... (“DON’T SWEAT IT BALD HEADED”) (“I’M FROM SACRA…HIT YOU SO HARD MAKE YOU GO CACA!”} His hobbies were fixing cars, writing checks..at last but not least … Women” Mario was proceeded in death by his wife Felicia Chavez, his Father Miguel Chavez, Brothers, Anthony Duran, Aurelio Urvina Jr. and Joel Chavez He leaves behind three sons Mario Chavez Jr and fiancé Lauren Blankenship of Bakersfield Ca, Brandon Chavez of Sacramento Ca. Frankie Chavez of Sacramento Ca. and Mother Molly Perez of Wasco Ca, Seven brothers: Guillermo (Silvia) Urvina of Oceanside Ca. Marcos (Cynthia) Urvina of Lakewood Ca. Michael Chavez and Sherry Thalman of Wasco Ca. Thomas Urvina of Wasco Ca. Mickey Chavez of San Mateo Ca. Javier Chavez of Hanford Ca. Jesus Chavez of Texas. Four sisters: Lorena Chavez of Wasco Ca. Korrina Kaalekahi of Hanford Ca. Sandi (Steve) Jones of Oceanside Ca. Luz Chavez of Fresno Ca. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends Mario’s final resting place will be in Sacramento California with his wife.
