<p><strong> A Celebration of Life</strong></p> <p><strong>A Time To Be Born:: Kenyawn Jerrell Grant was born on February 14, 1984, to Brenda Lee Grant and Jerimiah Wilson in Orangeburg, South Carolina.</strong></p> <p><strong>A Time To Live: Kenyawn grew up in Eutawville, SC, and attended St. James Gilliard Elementary and Holly Hill Robert High School, where he was a member of the marching band and the football team. He later attended Denmark Technical College in Denmark, South Carolina. He loved sports and was a loyal San Francisco 49er fan. He had various jobs during his lifetime. He was employed with Amazon out of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Port Authority in Charleston, SC. He was an Entrepreneur and he was also a rising star in the film production business, where he performed with TW Productions and Chris Carter's Production Companies. He was a loving and kind-hearted person, who loved his family dearly. He never liked confusion and always tried to be a peacemaker. Matthews 5:9 states, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God." </strong></p> <p><strong>A Time To Love: Kenyawn loved his children dearly and was always that over-protective father who needed to know their whereabouts every minute, or every second, even if they were with family members. He was the epitome of true love. He loved his siblings and always made sure they were safe. Kenyawn was a loving person with a big heart. On Valentine's Day (his Birthday) he would make it his business to bring all of the females in the family a single rose and candy. He loved spending time with his family and cooking his specialty "Garlic Herb Crab Legs". At numerous family gatherings, you would find him in the kitchen with his mom and aunts cooking. He had a special bond with his father and he loved spending time with him doing special projects. He spent a lot of time with his grandmother, Retha. The two had a relationship that was so special. He also loved spending time with his cousins and friends who were like brothers to him. </strong></p> <p><strong>A Time To Mourn: Kenyawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George Grant, Sr., and Thelma Lee Grant, a Stepbrother Joshua Savage, and a special uncle, Deacon Lacell Davis, Jr.</strong></p> <p><strong>A Time To Die: Kenyawn departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on August 06, 2021. He leaves to cherish his lasting memories of his devoted mother Brenda Grant-King, stepfather, Johnny King of Eutawville, SC; his loving father, Jeremiah Wilson, and loving stepmother, Mindy Wilson. Two loving children, one son, Kenyawn Jerrell Grant, Jr., and one daughter, Kelly Tamera Morris; four sisters, Shaneal Grant and Tamara Garner all of Santee, SC, Shaquanna King of Seneca, SC, and Jerica Wilson of Florida; two brothers, Sherwin Grant of Columbia, SC and Shaquan King of Detriot, Michigan: one step-sister, Jennifer (Gregory) Minus of Jedburg, SC; and three stepbrothers, John (Bertha) Savage of Knightsville, SC, James (Caroline) Savage and Jeremy (Candice) Savage all of Dorchester, SC. His dearly beloved and devoted grandmother, Aretha Grant. 14 Aunts: Ruthie Mae Green, Joyce (Benjamin) Wright, and Carrie (Clifton) Durant all of Holly Hill, SC. Jannie Pooser of Vance, SC; Rose (David) Wyman of Washington, New Jersey, Jeanette (Allen) Davis of Holly Hill, SC, Lorraine (Wardaniel) Young, Sarah (Zikie) Richardson, Gussie Mae Grant, and Mahotia Grant, all of Jersey City, New Jersey; Allean Davis, Cheryl Fuller, and Elaine King all of Eutawville, SC; Ophelia (Harold) Gillens of Summerville, SC. Two uncles, Peter Morant and John Morant all of Holly Hill, SC, one Goddaughter, Amiyah Davis of Elloree, SC, a very special nephew, Tymell Grant of Santee, SC, a special friend, Felechia Taste of North Charleston, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives who will miss him dearly. </strong></p> <p><strong>Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and protocols when visiting the family and funeral home.
