BILLINGSLEY, Daniel Anno Hundt

Born on March 13, 1983 to parents Shaun & Sue (nee Hundt) Billingsley in North Bay, Ontario.  Taken away at a far too young age of 38, Daniel passed away tragically on October 3, 2021. He will be forever missed and thought of everyday by his parents and siblings, Mark Billingsley and Brittany Mechefske.  Daniel is the loving uncle to Robbie Feeney and Dex Mechefske and beloved grandson to Barbara and Anno Hundt and Doug and Wendy Billingsley.  He is predeceased in death by his grandmother Patricia-Hunter Phillips and uncle Rob Billingsley.  He will be missed by many extended family members and friends that were fortunate enough to have known him.  

In school Daniel won the provincial math award and went on to win other awards in high school including math and business. He was also third in Canada in the science fair (before high school).  Daniel would fall in love with everything with a motor by the age of 10 and was building snow machines and at 12 building his first motorbike.  Near the same age he discovered the joy of music, winning numerous trophy's from sound completions.  There are many cars traveling today from Honda’s to Lamborghini's and Ferrari's that have been touched and improved upon by Daniel.  Many special memories were made canoe fishing with his dad and riding his horse with his mom.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. at Davedi Club, 313 Airport Rd, North Bay.  A service will be held and followed by speeches at 2:00 p.m. where much laughter and some tears will be shed.  Live streaming will be available to those unable to attend the Celebration of Life and can be accessed through Daniel's memorial page located at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com  In keeping with Covid-19 restrictions mandated by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario; facial coverings, social distancing up to 2 meters, contact tracing and proof of vaccine with one piece of identification will be strictly adhered to, to attend.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 240 McCaul Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5T 1W5, https://rmhctoronto.ca/  Messages of condolence can be left on www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
